Hmm...

Spotted on a 'blog entry... "Haven't you noticed that everyone in 2004 wants a new career?"

I've certainly seen that, although I'd date it back to sometime sortly after 9/11/2004, really. I'd be surprised if anyone in the U.S. didn't go through a certain period of introspection after that rather visible confrontation with mortality. It takes time for plans to be laid, and for things to come to fruition.
